Photo texturing:

The basic stock image provided during class.

Using the cracked texture overlayed ontop, i used the skew and warp tools to begin wrapping the texture around individual areas of the creature.

I stuck to muscle by muscle in order to get the most realistic wrap around for the contours of the creature, scaling up and down the image to best fit each part of the torso.

I followed this process until the entire exposed upper torso was covered in this way.

Sticking to this technique, i used another, fleshier texture for the membrane like webbed sections of the creature, aswell as the tendon-like connecting areas.

I then repeated this process on the muscles within the abdomen, again sticking to muscle by muscle structure.

Finnally i added a colour layer over the top to bring a little warmth into the tone.
