Modelling the starship Enterprise

By splitting up the provided 3 view blueprint image, i constructed a reference box.

I began by modelling the fuselage, starting out with a basic cube, smoothing it out and manipulating the vertices until i had a basic shape, i then extruded the end face to create the step-like portion.

By repeating this stage for the struts supporting the engines and main deck disc, and using the curve tool to create nurbs for the rounded portions such as the radar dish, main decks, and caps for the engines, i continued to flesh out the model until i was happy.
Photoshop concept painting (Lizard dude)

Starting out with the linework provided, i simply filled in the background a mid grey.

I then picked a neutral brown and filled in the outline as a silhouette , before selecting this area and making a mask for further layers.

Next up i began creating very basic shadows and highlights.

I then found a snake skin texture and applied this to the image on a soft light layer.

Anatomy Study Pt.2 Muscle structure

Starting off i did a basic study sketch of the arm muscles, mainly concentrating on how the muscles are made up and how they connect and overlap each other.

I then did the same, but on a broader range, exploring how larger muscle groups were arranged and how they might interact with each other.

Finally looking at the entire body and learning all the main muscles.
