A basic copy of a model given to us to copy, using basic polys and tools such as extrude and bevel to create this turret.
We then began to create surface detail upon the surfaces of the turret.
Returning to the original model, we began learning how to convert a hi poly model to a low poly model by baking normal and occlusion maps.

We then added metal textures, plus details such as graffitti over the top to create a finished look.
